If you have chosen to buy a brass or bronze versionmodel I guess you already  know that they develop a patina and this is probably

one of the reasons why you buy this material.

This process starts pretty fast so if you get your clock it will already show signs of patina.

Below are some pictures and what you see there is not dirty or scratched but a beginning patina process.

This is a natural reaction of the material and not a defect.

Those lines will disappear because more patina will build up soon.

If you feel the need to clean the patina off your watch then I recommend a brass cleaner.

You can also soak it in lime juice but in my opinion a brass cleaner works faster.
